Sunday November 22 2020 - Lb200Blog entry
Initially, I called myself Loserboy because of how my first opponent called me. Hey, he was way bigger than I am. I guess I wanted to partly hide the "Loserboy" term so contracted it to "Lb". However, most sites would only accept a minimum amount of 3-5 characters as a requirement, so I added 200 as a random number which results to "Lb200".

Over the years, people were confused with my name. I got rejected a few times because they thought my weight was 200 lbs, which could make perfectly sense even though back then I was between 150 to 160 lbs. Others read through the name (and my pics) clearly and didn't want to wrestle a total jobber, which I have to admit, is what the pseudonym tends to give as a first impression.

I did fight over the years to demonstrate that I can more than often take the opposite side: be a heel, be the stronger one that some wanted me to be. Of course, I had that one little instance that traumatized me a bit when I asked a wrestler if we could have a match. He responded: "You have the reputation of injuring people." Wow. Um... I have no idea what has been discussed behind closed doors.

If only I could show how I can be nice and gentle on many of my holds. I've also trained a few wrestlers on how to apply moves the correct way. I'm not the best coach, but the strict minimum I have is a good start.

Recently, a potential opponent just made me realize a good alternative answer behind my Lb200 username: Loserboy of 200 matches! I can be a heel, but I am a jobber at heart. I may have lost this many matches, but that doesn't mean I can't win some... And truth be told.. I never counted. It may well be that behind those 200 losses, there is a secret 100 wins!

With matches I fought during the years, some would call me Winnerboy or ScissorBoy. As new wrestling networks are being created, I've started reserving acronyms like FNBS which stands for Full Nelson Body Scissors, another of my favorite hold. I recently also tried RackerMTL, since the rack appears to attract a lot of eyes. It is a synonym of strength, even though I consider it a cheat because it is just a question of balancing one's weight on your shoulders.

Lastly, I've learned not to be concerned with what others think. You choose the name you are most happy with and if people on your profile are curious or want to wrestle you, then they'll ask you for the history behind your pseudonym. Don't judge a book by its cover.
