| Sunday January 28 2018 - ManWrestler in Mtl + EvilDark: Week-end in Quebec | Recent matches | ||||
| I've been laying low these days. I've actually been spending my time on the Unity Game Engine framework to try to release a little game on my own on the App Store or the Apple Store. I am also taking the lame excuse of this extremely cold winter to stay inside and minimize my matches. In any case, I had a match last week with ManWrestler (id 4470). We took it very easy because we were both tired. We've talked quite a bit and he mentioned something that I'd like to share: he traveled a lot in the past decades and the best matches are always those in smaller towns or rural areas. People in those remote parts can't find many or any wrestlers at all, so they really appreciate it when someone does the extra mile and goes to them. In analogy, this week-end I went to Quebec city to visit EvilDark (id 1077) and he made me realize that I haven't visited him since exactly one year. So much for a seasonal encounter. I told him that we need to maintain the quota of once a season to keep us up to date. We'll try our best to achieve that goal. Anyway, Quebec city isn't that small of a city, but if you look at the wrestlers available, it's pretty empty. As such, EvilDark always greets me with open arms. He provides me with food and lodging and we wrestle during the night. I have a couple of screenshots we took from a few clips today. EvilDark always takes this opportunity to try a couple of new holds. This is a combination of the Cobra Clutch with the Body Scissors. I don't think I've ever posted one of these in the past.
I explicitly asked him for the Full Nelson with Grapevine again, because it's still one of my favorites. 
To return the favor, I gave back to him a body scissors of my own and a parting gift.
Lastly, while I was watching the news on TV, he asked me to do a light head scissors, since that's his own favorite.
On that note, you can notice my belly growing in that last picture. The result of being lazy  I don't mind it anymore. I've been told it makes me look more like a man instead of a child...  Anyway, EvilDark and I caught up on the year we missed. These days, he now travels all around the world, mostly for sightseeing.. I asked him if he gets any matches at all, but he travels with friends and relatives, so it makes it very hard to schedule wrestlers. | |||||
