Tuesday April 11 2017 - Signature hold: Full Nelson Body ScissorsHold it!
I apparently haven't posted any Full Nelson Body Scissors (FNBS for short) since... February 2016.

Ouch.

Considering that this is my signature sub hold and my 3rd most successful submission giver, it's a bit surprising that I haven't posted any other photos since then.

I realized shortly after my assessment above that shots for the Full Nelson Body Scissors usually require a photograph because of its angle and also because it is done on the floor/mats. I guess I rarely find a good angle when I take this hold from a tripod, which accounts for about 90% of the photos I take.

Anyhow, to even up the quota for this signature hold, here are a couple of pictures taken from my previous match and you'll understand what I mean when I talk about the proper angle. This one below is with SammyNoviceWrestler (id 7721) back in July 2016. It's a screen capture from a video, hence the lower quality.

Up next, I applied it on Transporteur (id 5373). I thought he could resist it, but I think he gave me a little tap on the leg to hint me that I need to tone down the pressure. This is also a screen cap. It was taken on January 2016.

This last one is with the The Mauler (id 2963) while I was in Florida for a conference from work in May 2015. As far as I'm concerned, the photos are in his hands and he has full control over the scenario for this match. It is supposed to be a continuation of our first chapter.

This is the only one in today's set that is not a screen capture, but a photo. You can tell the difference.

I suppose I can also make a Hall of FNBS, but the rack just seems a lot more impressive than the FNBS itself.

I always wondered: Should it be the Full Nelson Body Scissors or the Body Scissors Full Nelson? I always opted for the first form, it just seems a bit more logical. You put the full nelson first, and then apply your body scissors.

In case you are wondering, since the FNBS is my 3rd submission giver, the Ankle Lock and the Leg Scissors are my #1 and #2 most reliable sub-style submission moves. The Leg Scissors is more effective than the Ankle Lock, but the Leg Scissors is usually harder to pull off and I generally consider it as a cheat hold because I'm using the knee bone against my opponent's leg muscles, hence why it's downgraded to #2. In any case, most wrestlers move swiftly and know how to avoid a leg scissor whereas you will have an easier time to catch someone off-guard for an ankle lock.
