I stumbled upon these pics that we took back in November of 2010. These were part of a set with Dr. Monarch (id 3997) that was incomplete, meaning that we had insufficient pictures to write a full scenario. It was back at a time where my camera could only take 3 shots after a 10 second pause, and then I had to re-configure the camera over again... which kinda made the whole photo shooting tough, cumbersome and way way more tedious than it should have been. We did took 40 images, but among those, at least half were broken in the sense that my camera back then was still incapable of capturing the slightness movement or brisk movement in our holds, so you'd get the blurry effect while trying to make the hold a bit too real. 😂

Anyhow, these images are still nice and I felt it was time to share them today.

And we can also make a quick mini-story with it! Dr. Monarch has Loserboy in his claws and traps the helpless Loserboy in a dreadful nelson!

Loserboy is not intimidated! He escapes from the nelson and shows Dr. Monarch who's the boss! Loserboy exclaims: "Taste my bearhug and submit to your superhero!"

With that, Dr. Monarch howls in pain as Loserboy crushes him over and over!

But little did he know, Dr. Monarch was faking it all along! Dr. Monarch easily breaks out of Loserboy's pitiful bearhug and gives Loserboy one of his own! Mwahahahaha!

Oh no! Loserboy is in trouble! He is crushed by the evil paws of Dr. Monarch. He is so strong, so powerful that Loserboy has no choice but to submit to Dr. Monarch crushing squeeze. This is a dark day for our world. This is how Dr. Monarch finally manages to conquer the world! It teaches us right to rely on the useless Loserboy to save us! Who in their right mind would hire Loserboy to take care of such an important task?😅

Sure, I could have done a story this short, but it wouldn't be as fun as a 10 page story board with lots more action and useless onomatopoeia and animations to fill in the gaps. 😝

In addition, if you were picky, you would probably have wondered why did Loserboy suddenly remove his mask and why did Dr. Monarch change his? However, since this is a low-budget parody match, you should not pay attention to those silly little details. 😛

So.. anyway, we were a bit hindered by the limited tech back then, hence the insufficient amount of images... Nowadays, I just let my new camera roll and it takes a shot every second until you ask it to stop and then you find yourself having to browse, pick and choose in a set of 1,000 pictures... from which, maybe 800 are unusable, but at least 200 is a good and sufficient count to make a match out of it. 😅

Little funny tidbit, that last picture with the mask on Dr. Monarch: that's exactly the reason why I no longer wear masks in my matches. If they aren't attached tightly and properly, they tilt sideways and hide your vision, not to mention, they also affect in a funny way the overall look and feel of the shot. 😅
