Sunday January 4 2015 - From Clash 2013Memories
When I attended the Clash of the Titans back in June 2013, I met this guy that was very very shy. For the purpose of preserving his secret identity, we'll call him John.

John came to the event, paid his 85$ entrance fee (this was required to rent the warehouse, set up the ring and buy the snacks and refreshments for the event) and John simply sat down and watched. People were asking him if he wanted to wrestle and he'd reply:

- "Maybe later."

I asked him as well and I received the same reply.

Eventually, MooseJawMauler, one of the wrestlers who attended the event, asked him a few questions:

- "What is it in wrestling that you enjoy?"

John replied:

- "The lifting aspect. I like being lifted and carried around."

Having seen the rack I applied on Edinchattanooga (id 2616), who was 260 lbs at the time, MooseJawMauler simply told him:

- "Why don't you see Loserboy? He'll be able to lift and carry you around."

John looked at me from a far and he'd tell Moose:

- "Nah! He's way too small. He'll hurt himself trying to lift me."

A few moments later, Moose promptly relayed to me his chat with John, so I approached John myself:

- "Hey John, I can carry you around easily. Let's go in the ring. I'll show you."

John finally accepted. We both went up to the ring and I started putting him in the bearhug, while walking him around the ring.

- "Oh my...", expressed John.

Then I applied the the torture rack, the fireman's carry, even did several 360 degrees rotations with it, then I realized that he probably would love to have a shoulder ride as well. Having traded shoulder rides with Transporteur (id 5373) previously, I had a feeling that John shared the same fantasy.

I asked John to sit on the top rope at the corner, I turned my back towards him and I asked him to sit on my shoulders. He followed my instruction and once he was carefully positioned, I walked him around the ring. After a minute or two, I was a bit exhausted because it takes quite a bit of strength to carry people around.

- "Let's take a little break and resume this later," I told him.

Guess what? He disappeared.

Uh.... yes, I was worried. Did I scared the poor guy? Had I pushed him a bit too far? Did I do something I shouldn't have done?

Moments later, BigJoe (id 9887), the organizer of the event went to see me and told me this:

- "John left, but before he did, he went to see me and told me: 'That was the best 85$ I ever spent in my life!"

So technically, all John wanted was to be lifted and carried, and that's all what he needed.

Phew.. I was really happy to learn that.. and it made me realized that there are so many wrestlers out there that need to experience and explore their fantasies. John's fantasy was a very easy one to fulfill and I would have carried him around for hours more had he stayed.

I was able to reach John again after the event through MeetFighters. John actually knew about the Clash of the Titans event. It existed since at least 17 years, but John never attended it because he was very shy about it. That year, he finally came out and gave it a try. And I'm very glad he did.
