I know these are old.. not just old school old, but dinosaur old. These date from 2005.. so yeah, um... 13 years ago. Was there digital cameras back then? Well, apparently yes.

This furry cute fellow under the nickname "GT" never actually wrestled in the first place, but he was a good sport and he accepted taking a few shots with me which I compiled into a brief match back then. Of course, the masks helped him agree to this photoshoot since you'd have to know GT quite personally to be able to tell who he is in real life. And I'm sure you'd still not be able to tell who he is if you zoomed in on the books on the library.

In this shot, it was important that the camera captures his furry chest.

I guess you can tell this was old since I was still wearing my silly masks, wearing regular underwear unsuitable for wrestling and taking shots in a bedroom. But you know what? Back then, you'd use whatever you have to fulfill your fantasy, so I'm very happy with these souvenirs. It helps me put things in perspective on how I took wrestling shots back then and how I take them today. Anyway, it's not as if wrestling rings and wrestling trunks grow on trees.

GT and I could have been long-term boyfriends, but he made an important sacrifice to help a friend. Meanwhile, I ended up meeting another bear and we parted ways for a couple of years. We're still close today and I'm sure if I asked him to do a part deux, perhaps in a ring when it comes back one day, he would be happy to do it again.
