Friday February 9 2018 - Growlr and TindrBlog entry
I've been a like bit more active on applications like Growlr and Tinder recently.. just giving it a try and a bit more love to it.

A friend told me that these applications are sometimes used by wrestlers as well. They simply put in their profiles that they only want to wrestle or would like to be directed towards wrestlers. It apparently works very well for them.

In my case, I'm starting by posting a single sentence in my profile: "Looking for cuddling or wrestling." When people ask for more pictures, I actually end up pointing to my blog. It's really funny to see how the majority of them gets scared right away and they no longer reply. That's fine by me. Wrestling is a hard criteria to satisfy and if they can't understand the wrestling persona I'm adopting and the fun behind it, then perhaps those people are not for me and they are better suited for people that fits their interests.

I have to admit, it doesn't help that in some of my pictures, I just flex like an idiot or I do that threatening stance where I am about to punch someone... or that mean look that I always do in most of my pictures.

It kinda reminds me when this wrestler told me, "Ah, that's the look you do in your pics."
He made me lose my concentration and I ended up bursting in laughter. He shortly made me tap after that.. the cheater! But it was all in good fun.

Anyway, in the very few I've met through these online applications and the very few that accepted me for who I am, at least one of them ended up registering on MeetFighters and you know what? It's one baby step at a time and it feels good. It's telling someone that there's no fear to experience your passion no matter your location in the world and no matter how different you think you are from the rest of the world. There will always be communities catering to what your heart holds dear.
