Sunday May 19 2019 - PreferencesPassion for wrestling
In my travels, I've met people who use wrestling to be able to satisfy a specific condition or fantasy that they really love. I call it "preferences", just to make it look nicer than "fetish" or "fantasy". A friend once told me that a hardcore "fetish" is really a condition that you MUST fulfill in order to come. However, I think that most people are lighter on their requirements and they are flexible: they will usually still gain pleasure through variants or other means.

I'm just listing some of these preferences now to recall some of my older memories. There's plenty more in this list, but I'll stick with a couple few for now.

• Head Scissor Lovers: Perhaps this is the most common preference I've seen in many wrestlers. Some of my opponents only want to be held for a long period of time. Squeezing them tightly until they tap, or remain within the boundaries and limits of submission. Examples of wrestlers having this preference is HeadSqueezeKing (id 5553) [ Entries ], HeadlockMeHard (id 2511) [ Blog ], Headscissorsguy (id 9989), Kevin_Patrick [ Event ] and SubJobber (id 713) [ Pic ].

• Body Scissor Lovers: I could classify myself in this category. I absolutely adore scissors, but then again, I love racks, bearhugs and full nelsons with body scissors. EvilDark (id 1077) falls into this category, but often enough, you have variants where people prefer the side body scissors.

• Gut Puncher and Gut Punchees: Pretty self explanatory. Marty (id 6169) [ Clip ] goes into this bucket, as well as AKRob. Despite the clips, I think both Marty and AKRob are more receivers than givers of gut punches.

• Sleeper Lover: I get a lot of people who wants me to sleeper them until they are KO and I always them that I'll never do such a thing. When dealing with the extremists in this category, I make sure to release much sooner than anticipated. The last thing I want is someone to fall unconscious while I have this applied. For some reasons, I don't have any examples of wrestlers that come to mind right now... I'll try to think about it and re-edit this later.

• Shoulder Riders: While this is not a wrestling hold per say, many look up to wrestling as a great way to be lifted and to be carried around. Shoulder rides are often used in tag team matches as well where one wrestler puts his opponent on his shoulder while the tag team partner jumps from the third rope and performs a lariat. Obviously, you don't see this often in our community, because we try to play safe and we don't have the training to execute such a maneuver. Anyhow, known shoulder lifters are Transporteur (id 5373) and John (anonymized)

• Face Sitters: I'd admit this is the hardest preference for me to fulfill. I've never been really strong on breath control. Some pains are fun, but this is a sort of pain or restriction that is pretty uncomfortable... at least for me. I don't mind sitting on someone's face, but to have someone butt on my face is... something else. You can't please everyone, right?

Nevertheless, most of the preferences I've listed here are easy to fulfill: wrestling is often an excuse to reach that desire. But you know what? There's nothing wrong with that.

Just like a chemical or electric reaction triggered my love for bearhugs while watching wrestling on TV, I find it that the same applies to many wrestlers that I've fought. One wrestler would watch a WWE wrestler apply the face sitter and that's how he got his fondness for this hold. Another one watched a cartoon of a body scissor being applied and that was his catalyst.

Tuesday January 8 2019 - HeadlockVideo clips
After HeadSqueezeKing (id 5553) asked me to review the tweaks he made on the match today, I re-checked my archives and realized that we did a few videos that I never got around to share with you guys. With a name like "Head Squeeze King", you can imagine that he's very fond of head scissors and headlocks. Today's video clip is actually the headlock.

You will see on the 12th second the clip a part where I am very nonchalant about his tactics to break away from the hold. It's as if I'm telling him:

- "What are you doing? You know that's not gonna work, right?"

Anyhow, you can view this headlock under [ Clip ID 359 ]

About the tweaks, I explicitly asked him if he can make me lose the match. He originally decided on a draw, but I have a reputation to hold and have under my belt an endless string of losing streaks. I actually already feel right now that I have way too many wins to be called "Loserboy". Want proof? Check the match statistics.

Monday January 7 2019 - HeadSqueezeKing vs LoserboyScenarios
HeadSqueezeKing (id 5553) took the time last week to write a very nice story with the pics we took back in July 2017.

He came up with a match scenario of 8 pages. You can take a look at it under Match ID 355.

Here are two pictures that came from the match. I think this is a reverse head scissors. I usually apply them the other way around, with me facing my opponent rather than looking the other way. My guess is that applying this way probably yields a different type of pressure that HeadSqueezeKing might enjoy.

You guys have seen this cross-breed body scissors with bearhug combo that I'm starting to use more and more. Many opponents don't like the full nelson, so what better way to make the body scissors even better by replacing the nelson with the bearhug instead?

If you like the match, please don't forget to put a "Thumbs up" on the match to at least show HeadSqueezeKing your appreciation for the time and dedication he invested in the story and scenario he shared with us.

Thursday March 1 2018 - Small breakArchives
I admit I haven't been active as of late. I guess I'm just taking a little break. That being said, I should still update my blog, so here are a few images I dug up from my archives.

I'll start with RbWrestle (id 395) holding me steady with a well-laced chinlock with a slight push of his knee. For the record, I can't show his face because he isn't wearing a mask... but otherwise, I would have been showing his big grin.

Fun4Us (id 8822) shows his strength by crushing me from behind.

The HeadSqueezeKing (id 5553) shows his signature with a deadly headscissors. The grimace I'm doing on that pic is actually me concentrating and resisting the hold so that I don't give up too soon...

You're probably wondering... what's with Loserboy always being the jobber or victim in these holds? So, here's two shots where I'm applying the hold: Marty (id 6169) tries to power out of my full nelson. Will he succeed?

And last but not least, Vicious (id 5128) is struggling in my chickenwing with body scissors combo.

I just realized I never posted any pics of this combo before.

I wrestled Anonymus (id 796) earlier this month. He picked up significant power and I had quite some trouble handling him. Of course, the weight difference is a factor, but I've been able to power him out previously. He told me that he got back into his training routine, so I guess that's my cue to do the same. This long tedious winter in Canada seems to be reaching its end... I'll probably find some time to go back into my cycling and rollerblading.

Monday July 3 2017 - HeadSqueezeKingRecent matches
HeadSqueezeKing (id 5553) was in town yesterday for a business trip and we've schedule a little meet late night.

I'd have to say that he's pretty strong and resistant. He definitely knows his stuff and he knows how to gauge his holds. As his nickname implies, he has a fondness for headlocks and headscissors. Our match revolved around give and take with a little bit of light sub or semi-sub. Long held holds and varying intensity around the tolerance threshold were the keywords for our match.

He suggested that we take pictures. I then realized that it's been a while I took pictures in a hotel room. Concerns about lighting and positioning of the camera were a bit of an issue, but I think we've managed to work around the problem. For starters, let's put in his cherished headlocks:

I have to admit that I had quite some trouble getting out of his headlock because he had a good 70 lbs leverage weight difference by putting his body on me, which makes escaping virtually impossible. If you put in a good amount of patience and perseverance, you might be able to eventually breakaway.

I took his example and locked my wrist tight, holding it in place firmly and putting my weight on him. I did manage to keep him down for a little bit. For the camera, I purposely did a few flexes and taunted him:

- "I can keep you down using just one arm."

Later on, he asked me what were my favorite holds. The rack was out of the question. Not everyone is willing to be lifted and bent backwards. Nonetheless, he was happy to cooperate and exchange a couple of full nelson body scissors.

Lastly, let's put in this little headscissor.

The only minor thing that did annoy me was that he'd often rub my hair/head with his hand while he locked me in his holds. I suppose it's part of the game though, but I should have felt more comfortable in voicing it. However, I did exploit a little weakness of his: he was a little bit ticklish on his feet. A soft tender flicking of the fingers should do the trick. This, of course, requires that, while you are in his holds, you have access to his feet.

We had a few wrestlers in common: he spoke about Timnbama, HeadlockMeHard (id 2511) and Rassle4Fun (id 1084) whom we've both wrestled previously. The wrestling community is small so it is not uncommon to see that some of our past wrestlers are shared.
