Sunday July 31 2016 - Eman170 and GuresRecent matches
This is one of those week-ends where I don't plan anything and I end up wrestling anyway... on both days.

I finally met Eman170 (id 2668). He had an affinity for gut punching and ball grabbing/clawing and I ended up jobbing him for most of our session. In any case, I should have by now a lot more experience playing the heel... even if my wrestling handle is Loserboy.

Here are a couple of pics from our match:

We took a lot more than this, but I'll leave to Eman the discretion of sharing the rest of them.

Yeah, I did this session in my roommate's apartment, which explains all the awkward clutter and silly objects around... Next time, we will have a rematch in a motel room instead to be able to get more space to wrestle. Perhaps, we will try out a submission match.

My 2nd match was with Gures from Meetfighters. He came in all the way from Calgary. We took quite a few shots, but he's pretty concerned about internet anonymity and he didn't wear a mask for our shots, so I'll keep them concealed. My match with Gures was mostly submission, going towards promission. He's stronger than I am on top of having a 30 lbs weight advantage, so I've lost all of my bouts against him, but not without giving him (hopefully) a hard time getting taps from me.

I won't hide it, Gures is really my type. Bearish, stocky, bearded with hairy chest... compounded with a very nice and charming personality. His weaknesses are gut punching, alternating between a hard punch and a soft caress... and surprisingly, the Full Nelson Body Scissors works pretty well on him. Yeah.. he seems to enjoy it a lot.

I also wore deodorant, because that's the default thing I do as a courtesy to wrestlers prior to a match, but he later conferred to me that he prefers our match without it, and also without AC so that we can sweat a lot.

He is one of the few wrestlers that could care less for companies like BG or TA. He prefers the real wrestling you see in Turkish, Korean or Indian Wrestling. Of interest, Gures told me that he also has his fair share of injuries over the years due to wrestling. So, we were pretty careful in our match and we were able to understand each other quite well by respecting each other's limits. If I don't go all out against opponents bigger than me, it's to prevent myself from getting injured, but I felt pretty safe doing an all-out sub with Gures.

I think Gures is Croatian with a background previous generation of Indian (from India).

Unexpected intense and charged week-end. Yes, why not? I'll take those anytime. I was actually supposed to test out my roller blades from their spider-webs and clean them from the cobbles of dust this week-end. Heck, I haven't bladed since 2 years ago, but who cares about rollerblading? It does help you give good body scissors though.
