Mindworm senses the power of Spider-man, the deep emotions of his mind, so powerful that the wall-crawler can resist his mind control - unlike everybody else outside - and so Mindworm decides to give Spider-man a Crushing bearhug.

Can also be seen reprinted as black-and-white ion "Essential Spider-man" vol 6 (I believe).
