When they were 13, their mom was carted off to jail for drugs and their dad ditched them. Having to struggle to raise their 3 sisters on their own, for fear foster care might find out and separate them, ROB & RAY did whatever odd jobs presented themselves to bring in enough money to keep them together. All of this eventually took a toll on the twins, as they ballooned to 378 lbs. and 381 lbs, respectively. The one thing they both were really good at was basketball.
During their transformation, Chris Powell introduced them to the LA Lakers and let them participate in some practice shots with the team. After 1 year, the twins reached their goals: 213 lbs. for Ray and 207 lbs. for Rob. Oh, and they finally confronted the father that left them, forgiving him and possibly on the path to making amends with him.
