| Saturday August 8 2026 - HairyWrestler, RickSF and SFBruce | Visitors in town | ||
| I had a rematch with HairyWrestler from France. He was in town a couple of days and he actually also wanted to wrestle my bf, but LumberG kindly asked him to turn him down. Nevertheless, I had a good time with HairyWrestler on my own and he is still vulnerable as usual to scissors. π€ I should have marked this down earlier, because I tend to forget the details of the match. It happened on the last week of July and I already forgot the details π RickSF and SFBruce were in town for a week and I did my usual by bringing them around town, but they were here 3 years ago as well and I had brought them already to the general places you do in Montreal: Old port, Mont-Royal observatory, bike ride to the Lachine canal, to the Gilles-Villeneuve Circuit and to the Atwater market. The only think that was new to them was the on a Thursday where they got to see the Australian fireworks competition. Bruce and Rick liked the show and Bruce told me he want to come back next year to attend the one where Chinese present their fireworks. I briefly wrestled lightly Rick and then he asked me who in Montreal I would recommend. My answer stayed the same: most Montreal wrestlers are very picky, but my most reliable one is Shantig7. So, the two of them got in touch with each other and they apparently a very good match. I did say hello to Shantig7 on his way out and we did mention that we need to have a rematch soon. Their trip from San Francisco to Montreal was also to discuss the details of a trip to come soon. More to come on that. π | |||

| I had the visit from BackToPro earlier this week. I actually don't know where he is actually from originally, but he travels extensively and has way more past opponents than I do π
His style matched my vibe, which was between long held submission holds and stiff pro. I've put on him quite a bit of head scissors of all types on him (rear, side, reversed) and I seldom ever saw someone that has as much resistance and endurance as he does for this type of hold. Most people would have gave up long ago, but the harder you squeeze BackToPro, the more he enjoys it. π He ended up doing a variation of the headlock with leg lock on me that I couldn't quite determine the name of the hold, but he's definitely so experienced that he can invent a hold on the fly... yet a very comfortable one. π BackToPro can take the stance of the jobber or the heel, he's very versatile and he's very passionate about wrestling. He's also nice, enthusiastic and compassionate. I would certainly not miss a chance to wrestle him again the next time he comes back to Montreal. Before we parted ways, we took this nice little selfie where I do my wrestling face. π  | |||

| Sunday May 3 2026 - ExploringGuy... from Singapore | Visitors in town | ||
| ExploringGuy was in town last week-end. Originally from Singapore, some people has suggested that he would do a tour in Montreal and he has kindly reached out to both me and LumberG (id 250). To be honest though, I did not have much a piece of him, because LumberG decided that he'll take on ExploringGuy first and by the time I had him, he was pretty much destroyed. A little squeeze was already too much for him and by ExploringGuy was merely just a useless defenseless jobber. Nevertheless, LumberG and I ended up double-teaming him by putting him in all sorts of different holds that he'd tap over and over. I then hinted ExploringGuy that we should double team LumberG, but the latter was too proud to be jobbered. π After the match, we brought him to a nice little Italian restaurant. His general mannerism shows that he is a very respectful and polite guy. Very sweet on and off the mats. We both hope to wrestle again in the future if he makes another stop in Montreal. | |||

| Sunday September 7 2025 - About a month ago... HsFan | Visitors in town | ||
| It completely slipped out of my mind... I wrestled about a month ago on August 17 a cute little fellow who goes by the name of hsfan. As his name implied, he is a great lover of head scissors... and head scissors only. He could withstand my head scissor strength up to 90% so much he loved them, but he couldn't take more than 10% of my body scissors because of problems on his side. I was still impressed that he could take as much as he could. Most opponents who I have fought would have given up at 50% pressure, considering that head scissors are one of the most dangerous holds out there in sub wrestling. I was also pretty surprised to hear him vent about his work. He was in Canada for a week vacation, away from the pressure and stress of his work. He works in IT; a software engineer that is underpaid and that works long hours and on week-ends. He is originally from Italy... and for a country part of the European Union, I am shocked to hear that they don't have better working conditions. Anyhow, I was glad to relieve his stress by head scissoring over and over. I wanted to apply other holds, but we ultimately went back to his favored one. He told me that if I ever get to Milan, that we should meet up again for a rematch. I do plan to visit Italy, but I know my partner tries to avoid anything that is in the northern part of Italy, preferring the middle southern area. I'll still keep him in mind because I enjoyed squeezing him π€ | |||

| Saturday August 30 2025 - Rematch: Gures and Walter | Visitors in town | ||
| A few days ago, I had a rematch with Gures. Incidentally, WalterG (id 2846) was also in town and I know they both share a great love for gut punching. I took the risk and I've decided to play matchmaker. Luckily for me, they got along pretty well and both submitted to each other endless gut punches with me helping out by holding the opponent down in my usual arm scissor with arm lock to have the opponent defenseless while my tag team partner pounds the guy down. Obviously, I teamed up with whoever wanted to enact his revenge: if Gures wanted to punch Walter down, I would hold down Walter. If Walter wanted to punch Gures down, I would hold down Gures. They both know that I don't have their same resistance as they do for gut punching, so they were pretty nice not to double-team me... although I have to admit I wouldn't have mind it either π We also had a few sub sessions here and there trying to make the other tap and I commented how Gures was nice enough not to use his weight to wear down his opponent, but rather to immobilize them. It may be possible that we'll have a round 3 since both of them are staying in until end of September. | |||

| Thursday July 31 2025 - Julian_Chang and MainEagle93 | Visitors in town | ||
| It feels like ages (if not, eons) since I last wrestled. Luckily, I had a visit from Julian_Chang from Ottawa who was accompanied with MainEagle93 (id 1086) from Washington D.C. Both of them converged at Toronto for the yearly Wrestlefest event and then drove to Montreal to continue their wrestling and sightseeing trek. They were very nice to let me slip into their schedule by putting me into a multitude of head scissoring, body scissoring, squishing, stretching holds in order to make me submit over and over. We took the opportunity to double-team and betray each other. π Regardless of their previous matches, both of them were unphased and unharmed. I can only wish I had their endurance, stamina, resistance and strength. After our bout, we went and enjoyed Ramen at Tsukuyomi, a personal japanese joint that I love. I walked them back to their hotel afterwards and they were nice to let me go knowing that I work the next day. I give them both a nice warm embrace and I'm already looking forward for a future re-match. π€ I had forgotten how head scissors, rear-naked chokes or triangle head scissors leaves me marks on my skin... As I went home, LumberG (id 250) commented that I look like a beaten up boyfriend and that my work colleagues would probably ponder what happened... I reiterated to LumberG that the marks will probably go away in about 2-3 days. Meanwhile, I can tell my colleagues that I attended a free trial class of jiu-jitsu and someone put me in a triangle armbar choke or something fancy like that. π | |||

| Saturday September 21 2024 - WatlerG rematch | Visitors in town | ||
| WalterG (id 2846) was back in town and we had another rematch a couple of days ago. This time around, he was much nicer to me with his punches and he gave me numerous chances to apply scissors on him although I'm sure he could have avoided those, but he knows that I absolutely adore squeezing his sensitive sides and see him suffer π Our wrestling was a bit brief, but I invited him aftewards to a steakhouse as a way to thank him for all these years of coming to Montreal and putting aside time to wrestle me. We had a very nice chat. He wouldn't take any dessert, but immediately went back on his word when he saw me take the crΓ¨me brulΓ©e π€ͺ WatlerG shared with me his upcoming travels. He's really going everywhere! From London to Greece to several US destinations and I believe he'll be back in October for a short stay in Montreal as well. My partner couldn't join me this time because he's recovering from a shoulder/neck injury, but he should be ready to tackle him again in October. WalterG didn't hesitate to taunt LumberG by telling me that my partner is probably scared of him. π Truth be told, WalterG can take much more of a gutpunching beating than LumberG... and LumberG can take it a lot more than I do! | |||

| Monday September 2 2024 - Jack Norwood ... or Honda Legend | Visitors in town | ||
| LumberG and I received the visit of HondaLegend, who drove from Boston to Montreal for a long wrestling week-end on labor day. LumberG was a bit hesitant because he was still recovering from an injury from doing squats at the gym, but we've decided to give it a go anyway. Jack and I locked horns first so I can get a glimpse or a sneak peak of Jack's style, and to my surprise, his style was light, exactly as what he described in our previous conversations as some good back and forth pro. Very light to medium pressure. At a few occasions, I wanted to take the lead, but he was non-responsive to my attacks to reverse our roles. Mind you, I was happy to stay a jobber most of the time. I had no idea Jack was more of a heel. I called out to LumberG to switch places and he also noticed that Jack had a wish to take the lead and to be in control, despite LumberG having a good 20-30 lbs over him. Jack was more my weight and height.. 5'4", 165 lbs. LumberG could have destroyed Jack if he wanted to, but he enjoyed seeing Jack flex over him π Eventually, near the end of our match, we ended up doing a bit of of 2 on 1. I held Jack down, while LumberG tormented him. We then trade places or became traitor to each other and so forth. Nothing like a good ol' full nelson with gut punching collaboration! π I think we had a good 2 hours session. Jack's plan for the remainder of the day was to go Six Flags La Ronde, so we made our goodbyes, gave each other a good hug or two. I told him he was more than welcome for a rematch in the future. | Thursday August 1 2024 - Sam | Visitors in town | ||
| I had the honor of wrestling Sam (id 3998) yesterday. He drove up for four hours and a half from his last US location to cross the border and do a visit in Montreal to help a friend. During his stay, he has decided to have a few matches along the way. Sam has more than 200 opponents under his belt, so he is definitely a veteran and knew what he was doing. His movements were fluid and his holds were effective. We wrestled light submission along with trading holds. My AC system broke so we both broke down a sweat. π I think we wrestled for about 2-3 hours intermingled with a chat here and there about our past wrestling experiences. Sam also has training with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but that was a long time ago and he kept its usage to a minimum during our encounter. It did give him an upper hand once in a while, but I didn't mind being tossed around or choked to submission. He certainly knew how to break away from scissors, that I would give him that! I remember seeing at least a decade ago his profile on several sites. It's nice to see that we were finally able to lock horns. That being said, after our bout, my opinion of him is that he's a fun wrestler and my doors are always open for a future match. π€ | |||

| Wednesday July 24 2024 - FFight | Visitors in town | ||
| I have met with FFight and we had a nice time together. He came all the way from the United Kingdom. We wrestled light submission with some roughhousing and a bit of give and take. I have to say: he was pretty strong, had a great grip and a good body scissors. He knew how to stay on top to prevent me from taking control or from flipping him over. He made me tap a few times, but I have to admit I took mostly a defensive and passive stance because I enjoyed being caught in his holds. π
We spoke a bit of our travels and he told me that he had visited Japan previously. I wanted to know more about it, because it's a destination that I will be visiting this year. He explained to me the culture, the food, the cleanliness, the beautiful traits of the country, which reinforces my intent to visit. He also filled me in on the wrestling culture in Japan among locals. We also talked about a Japanese reality show we are both currently following and we've agreed to be annoyed at one particular participant. I actually invited him for supper at a sushi place, but we ended up spending additional time tumbling and tossing each other around instead. I do really like his European accent. I told him he looked like an actor, to which he said that some people may have told him he looked like Bradley Cooper. I replied that I felt that his facial traits and expressions look more like Hugh Jackman... to which he kindly disagreed. π | |||

| Tuesday July 9 2024 - WrestleInVA1986: Part 2 | Visitors in town | ||
| So after Bartramia from 6 years ago, I had the honor of receiving WrestleInVA1986 who came back to Montreal 9 years later. Previously, our most memorable saying is the blue cheese cheesecake that we had tasted together back then. Truth be told, I was supposed to visit him in Virginia / Washington D.C. since our last encounter, but I never had the opportunity. I joined him late Saturday for a brief match on my mats. He is now this studly bear with hairy arms, salt and pepper hairy chest with an affinity for nipple play. He sports this nice beard with an emphasis on this big mustache. He has gotten even stronger and there was not much I could do to him. Since our last match, he had taken Jujitsu training, which makes him unbeatable.. I mean, I've never beaten anyone with Jujitsu training and mind you, I didn't beat him 9 years ago either. Luckily, WrestleInVa1986 was pretty adaptive and toned it down for me. As a demonstration of his strength, he eventually got me in a ground bearhug, putting his weight on me and squeezing his arms and pushing me towards the mats. It was definitely one of the strongest bearhugs I've been and I had no choice but to submit to this hunk of a bear! π We tangled for about an hour or two and we then went for a Japanese restaurant called Shoji. He was able to taste there a salmon sushi with a foie gras on top, which is apparently banned in some states. We then brought over our wrestling mats all the way to the northern suburbs in Laval so that he could also have a match with LumberG. Shocked by his strength, LumberG couldn't do much as well to WrestleInVA1986, but I believe they both had fun roughhousing around. I joined a bit for a tag team duo and lo' and behold, it was already 2 AM, so I took an Uber for him that would drive WrestleInVA1986 back to his hotel. The next day, I brought him to the edge of the canal using our electric bike-share bicycles. We took a rest there, chatted a bit, watched an invasive species take over our trees and we took a little selfie.  He has an interest for artisanal beer, so I followed up with a visit to Messorem: it's an industrial microbrewery that conducts various experiments every week by creating a new (albeit, sometimes very strange) flavors of beer. He took a smoothie beer that was a bit sweet, but the smell reminded me of soap in public bathrooms. π We finished with a trip back to downtown Montreal using our subway system. We went for a meal at a Korean restaurant near the Concordia University campus and we took a small walk in the underground tunnel connecting the various shopping malls. Unfortunately, everything was already closed, but I don't think WrestleInVa1985 missed much: our malls have pretty much the same stores as the states. We parted ways, hoping that our next encounter wouldn't be in 9 years. Again, that would be on me to visit him down there in Virginia some day. | |||

| Monday July 1 2024 - The Return of Bartramia | Visitors in town | ||
| Bartramia was my champion tag team partner during Clash 2018. Back then, I referred to him as J because I didn't know what was his MeetFighters profile until now. Bartramia initially requested that we wrestle in a ring, but I've told him that I no longer have access to it. In fact, I believe the last time I was in that ring was in 2017. Since then, Bella (the owner) moved away in the quest for a search of a big loft or studio that has a higher ceiling. Her ultimate goal was to jump off from the top rope and perform her stunts for her wrestling shows. I never heard back from her ever since. I really had no choice but to suggest to Batramia that we wrestle on my mats. He requested that I bring more wrestlers. The more, the merrier. I told him I have trouble myself finding regulars in Montreal or people that are reliable. The only one I could think at the top of my head that has a good amount of reliability is Vicious. We agreed on a time and eventually all three of us showed up and although Vicious and I started with light sub, the consensus was that we would wrestle pro fantasy or at the maximum, stiff pro (pro fantasy with some pressure and some thrust in those gut punches). We alternated between each other, occasionally doing a bit of 2 on 1. Vicious picked up very quickly the pro fantasy style even though his preference is submission. I felt some of the hits that we traded between the three of us were a bit harsher than I would expected: I guess in the heat of the action, it is quite hard to control our strength. There was this phase where Bartramia lifted my head and slammed it on the mats, and I actually could see a couple of stars spinning around my head. βπ€ͺβ Nevertheless, nobody was harmed and we had quite some fun. I think we tangled for roughly more than an hour and then we've decided to rush to a restaurant because we were hungry. We went to the Pizzeria Gepetta, but the kitchen was unfortunately closed. While we were scrambling on deciding where we wanted to go next at this time of the night (because most places in Montreal close around 9 pm), one of the waiters from the Pizzeria went out and told us that the kitchen gave them then green light to cook for us. That were very nice of them. π We had a nice meal and I was surprised to hear Vicious having an interest about American politics, so he asked a few questions to Bartramia who gladly answered for him his views about the state of the affairs in the US. I admit that's a sensitive subject that I usually leave out of wrestling, but I'm not opposed if someone else brings it up because they have a passion for it. I also understand Vicious' interest about it: what happens in the US will really affect Canada since we're a direct partner. After our supper, we made our good-byes and Bartramia suggested and hopes that our next match will be in a ring. Either I find a new ring that doesn't require professional insurance in Montreal or I one day meet him again in a ring in the US, perhaps at an event. | |||

| Friday May 31 2024 - Rematch: OrionsBelt | Visitors in town | ||
| OrionsBelt.. OrionsBelt.. The name actually sounded familiar. I scratched my head a bit and looked back at my posts by doing a little search. We apparently wrestled 7 years ago. I quickly re-read the entry and the description of his profile to try to get an idea of the style of wrestling and see if I can bring up some of my older memories, but 7 years seems too long and I needed visuals. π Luckily, I had posted pics back then, but they were all faceless... It was still enough to put me back in to the situation, paint a picture of our match from the past... OrionsBelt was only in town for one day for work and he had only gave me notice the same day. I normally can't take last minute request like this because of my partner, but sometimes the stars align themselves: I was able to make time and we were able to lock horns for about 2 hours. When I came to the hotel, I see a nice asian cub with a nice mustache and goatee, long hair, waiting for me. Given that I came at the last minute, all I had was my underwear, but he kindly offers me a speedo that goes by the brand "Budgy Smuggler" of pink color and sporting cute yellow ducks and bubbles. π½π¦  He marked fantasy pro in his profile, so I thought initially that he didn't want any pressure. As I wrestle him, I realized how I solid he was. He has so much resistance and he was also flexible at the same time. He loved my scissors and he definitely could take them! He definitely wanted me to squeeze as hard as I can (I did suggest him to mark stiff pro in his profile). I've decided to keep him as a jobber, going through my holds on him one after another. That didn't prevent him from putting scissors on me as well.. and man, his scissors can pack a punch! He also has an affinity for soft to strong nipple play. He asked me to squeeze harder and he did the same to me. We had a pretty good chemistry. I continued to apply different holds and went back often to the scissors he adores so much... and his body eventually realized that it was enough, that it might needed rest or I might break something or two. π We parted ways and I gave him a nice little bearhug, hoisting him up. 214 lbs is light for me. πͺΆ I encouraged him to take a selfie of us two, so I can remember him should we meet again 7 years later. Until then, I definitely would love to go back to Ottawa to tangle with him again. I also asked him his origin and he told me he is of Chinese descent. | |||

| Tuesday April 9 2024 - KickSands, MineBuster and MainEagle | Visitors in town | ||
| It's 3 for the price of one! Julian_Chang (Previously known as KickSands (id 5185)), Dipper (Previously known as MineBuster (id 5188)) and MainEagle (id 1086) were visiting Montreal for the week-end. I thought I would be just a tour guide, but we ended up wrestling, I think partly because it was rainy outside. Being a party of four, we took turns triple tag-teaming each other. At one point, I was head scissored, body scissored and gut punched. I even got a very nice double-bearhug... I think my first ever, squeezed between Dipper and KickSands. π The other guys weren't as cooperative as I was when they were being triple-teamed. I guess this really shows the inner jobber heart that I have while the others are showing that they can fight and persevere their way out despite being overwhelmed from all ends. I finished the night with a few light bruises, but the one that stayed the longest was a mark on my neck that actually looked like a hickey. The funny thing is that nobody gave me one.. it could have been a rear naked choke, an inadvertent squeeze, possibly some pressure point of some kind, everything gets lost in a four-way struggle and it's impossible to keep track of who did what. But who cares, right? You get to go home with a trophy! We should see it that way. π₯° Dipper wanted to go to Arcade MTL afterwards. It's a nice bar where you pay for a one-day cover fee and you get unlimited access to arcade cabinets and gaming consoles. We ended up playing The Simpsons arcade game, we did some DDR, we also played Super Contra, Metal Slug 5, 4-player pong, Warlords (a game where each player protects their corner and deflect multiple fireballs) and we had two tournaments of Mario Kart Deluxe 8. You can tell that people drink and play because all the joysticks had buttons stuck with alcohol. π I think MainEagle would have preferred to visit the city being the historical buff he is, but it was rainy anyway and he was being a good sport by going with Dipper's idea and joining us and watching us play. I did see him play Terminator 2 and Crazy Taxi as well, so I'm sure he enjoyed our outing as well. Dipper dominated the rankings though, showing us his l33t gaming skills. We are just one generation apart: I grew up with the NES and he grew with the SNES. They went to a burger joint after midnight, but it was time for me to get back. I hugged every wrestler and we parted ways. I get to keep in my memories a very sweet night of wrestling and gaming. π I had a rematch with RobyC about one or two weeks ago. We tumbled lightly again, trying to teach him how to avoid my scissors. I toyed with him a bit more this time around, knowing his skill level and his limits. I think he had a better time in this re-match. He was constantly worried about me not having fun previously, so I kept telling him this time that I actually really enjoy squeezing him. Some people are very squeezable and RobyC is definitely one of them. He has the perfect size for me to put my legs around his waist and I can squeeze gently to get a nice little submission. π RobyC eventually stopped struggling at one point, realizing that I was keeping him down, pinned, immobilized and making fun of him and letting me enjoy being the heel once in a while. | |||

| I had a visitor all the way from France staying at a downtown hotel. HairyWrestler had a brief match: the time zones were a major factor. It was 6 PM local time, but for him, it represented being awake at midnight. Nevertheless, I was able to witness his first hand strength before it depleted. He slammed me initially with full force bringing me down with a headlock on top of me. As the match went by, I countered back with scissors and we took it lighter. We ended up taking a big rest and watching "Peuples Souterrains" on TV5 which means "Underground nations" where a handsome host by the name of Jean-Simon Leduc showed us rural structures in Tunisia. It allowed HairyWrestler to take a short momentarily lapse of rest.. or a nap between our bouts. HairyWrestler admitted that we need a rematch perhaps this summer. π | |||

| Friday January 5 2024 - LumberG vs WalterG | Visitors in town | ||
| Last weekend, I finally was able to pit WalterG (id 2846) with LumberG (id 250). I was also there and I actually started to wrestle WalterG first to give a first glance for LumberG. It would allow him to determine preemptively what he is going up against... I requested personally that they go easy on each other since LumberG is still recovering from a back and shoulder pain, but this never goes the way we want it and they both started pretty rough. Luckily, on our second and third bouts, we started going slower and we were able to regulate our testosterone. Still, WalterG didn't hesitate to show that he could get all the gut punching in the world. We even double teamed him: I held him in a full nelson with light scissor while LumberG gut punched him. WalterG was still able to resist every punch we threw at him and he even showed LumberG, who is also a gut punching lover by the way, that WalterG could take a lot more! WalterG kindly made a Caesar salad for us before we left in the spirit of keeping it light. Both Walter and Lumber exchanged their thoughts about traveling, discussed about wrestling and work... and we parted ways after about 2 hours. I later received a message from Walter saying that he adored our session and he's looking for a rematch. π He mentioned he had a blast. He knew I was great, and he was expecting LumberG to be good too, but both of us together against him was amazing. I guess Walter loves to be double-teamed. π The next day, I even saw a few bruises on LumberG's stomach and sides. And I told them to go easy. π€¦ (sigh) | |||

| WalterG (id 2846) was in town, but from a 3 months work trip from Greece and he'll be staying for a month or so in Montreal, so we've set up to meet during the week. I got him to come to my place where I laid out the mats in my room. It's small for now, but it's workable. We had to try not to be loud, but with the gut punches and grunts we were delivery, I would have to say that we were probably not discreet at all. π You can check [  Clip ID 427 ] for an arm and leg lock with gut punch combo where I am unusually the victim. Be warned... there are lots of laughs and farts, so it will probably be a turn off for most... but the goal here was to have some fun and I had quite a bit in my session with WalterG.Even though WalterG's preferences are gut punches, mine are body scissors, which he can't take much. I can take his gut punches, but obviously not as much as he can. Sometimes, if our interests differ, we still try to make it work and balance it. I eventually gave him the same combo he gave me, then altered between gut punches, groin grab, and leg punches to force him to bring his leg down so I can deliver more gut punches. To my pleasure and surprise, he ended up conceding. Rarely can I ever make the great WalterG give up on gut punches... We'll probably be meeting again soon during his stay in Montreal. | |||

| WrestleWriter was in town for a visit. He is originally from Toronto and I had the honor to be his 3rd opponent. For someone who is only at his third match, he definitely knew what is he doing. WrestleWriter is very strong and has natural instincts in wrestling. He has experience in kayaking and in hiking and that definitely gives him an advantage for other sports. He always been following wrestling for a long while, watching on TV and due to personal circumstances, he was only been able to start doing it recently. Anyhow, WrestleWriter is not a rookie by any means in my book. π We tumbled around with light give and take and I realized I had to increase the notch up or two because he definitely could handle anything that I was throwing him. We still took it easy by taking breaks in between and he suggested that I lift him up. His reaction to a bearhug was funny because he wasn't expecting me to lift him. He was quite stiff in my rack and I had to tell him to relax, but that's a normal reaction for a first time rack. All in all, I think he had control of most of the match even though we took it easy and the irony was that he though I was going to destroy him and I thought he would be a walk in the park. I guess these encounters continue to remind me to never underestimate new opponents and never judge a book by its cover. After our match, we went and meet up Ttaree Moss Dwa Le at a coffee shop. Yes, he was also in town and he also comes from Toronto. WrestleWriter had a few reservations about Ttaree, but a nice chat with coffee cleared up any clouds. I wish I could take Ttaree as a 2nd opponent, but I've decided to listen to my body and do only a maximum of one match per day. Ttaree kindly later gave us a lift to subway and I gave another brief hug to WrestleWriter who yelled "NOOOO!" because he didn't want to be lifted again. π For sure, I made a new friend here and we will be meeting again in the future. | |||

| Monday August 28 2023 - Surprise visit from MainEagle93 | Visitors in town | ||
| I received the surprise visit of MainEagle93 (id 1086) today. He definitely had a better memory than I do, because he did remember that we wrestled in June last year. MainEagle was in town and just happened to check with me if I was available. Since I wrestled him previously, I trusted him enough to let him come to my place while my mom was still in the condo. We locked ourselves in my room, I placed a couple of my wrestling mats on the floor and we tumbled around a little bit. I told him not to worry, my mom is almost deaf. For the record, she lives with me. π MainEagle was very nice to let me put this time around the Loserboy's Hold. He kindly also put a very nice one on me... In short, we had quite a bit of fun in a short amount of time at the very last minute. I had to go look at the list of sweet nothings I had to say during our match because I had completely forgot them again... I do sometimes take notes when I talk to people, but these notes are pretty much useless if I do revise them before hand. π I don't mind at all an unexpected encounter, but I did told him that he was lucky because I usually don't stay at my condo often, but rather at my boyfriend's place and we currently don't host at his place. The stars simply aligned and we were able to make that match happen thankfully. We did take the opportunity to share our thoughts and catch back on our long lost year. Heck, we even cheered each other up. As many opponents I've fought, we are often very hard on ourselves. MainEagle93 told me that he loves Montreal, so he'll be back soon and he'll try to give me advance notice next time. π Please grow me a beard next time? π | |||

| Wednesday August 9 2023 - RickSF and SFBruce | Visitors in town | ||
| RickSF (id 8839) and SFBruce were in town last week-end. It was part of their multi Canadian city visit going from Toronto for the Canadian Wrestlefest, then with a hop to Ottawa and then to Montreal. I was their tour guide for 2 small days. We walked and biked (using electric bikes) to the Old Port, passed beside Habitat 67 (built for the Expo in 1967, Expo 67 was an international and universal exposition, or, in short, a world fair), dashed beside the Osheaga Rock festival on the Concorde Bridge and visited the Jean-Drapeau Park which hosts the Gilles-Villeneuve Formula 1 race. Unfortunately, the track was under maintenance, but we still managed to biked through the small gardens. We then went to Chinatown to eat at Sammi & Soupe Dumpling, which was pretty good. In the evening, we hung out in the village, visited the Campus Strip bar and the bear bar Stud. We also met two of their wrestling friends from San Francisco.   RickSF and SFBruce on the Concorde Bridge The next day, we biked further to the edge of the canal Lachine where the Rene-Levesque park is located and our way back, SFBruce pinpointed a special restaurant called "Le Taklamakan" that specializes in Uyghur cuisine. It was luckily near our bike path. SFBruce explained to me that Chinese restaurants that have Mandarin and Cantonese cuisine are plentiful in San Francisco, but Uyghur cuisine is impossible to find. Nevertheless, we were all thrilled to try this experience with him and we had the opportunity to taste delicious lamb dishes. On the map, that restaurant is denoted by that L-shaped detour we did on our bikes. π   I did manage to wrestle both of them a bit... and in the evening, I invited LumberG (id 250) over to tangle with them as well. SFBruce kindly went from submission to light give and take because I did told him to go easy on LumberG. RickSF was able to determine through the tangle that LumberG was safe to wrestle so we had a four way match on the small little bed at their hotel. We were then famished and LumberG suggested that we tried our specialty: Poutine, a dish made of fries, gravy and cheese curds. It's actually overrated, but still a great thing to make tourists try. π  Rick asked me why I didn't attend the fest in Toronto to which I explained that I'm still recovering from my shoulder injury and didn't want to make it worse. I did replace both my workstations with standing desks, but it will take some time before I fully recover. It's technically my arrogance, stubbornness, stupidity and my strong desire to rack heavy guys that had gotten me in this much trouble. I just need to be a bit more disciplined and ask people for their weight before racking them and set myself reasonable limits. Here's a shot of RickSF with a triangle head scissor on me :)
And here's a rare shot of LumberG (id 250) getting out-muscled and dominated by SFBruce even though LumberG is a heel at heart. π  Both RickSF and SFBruce gracefully suggested that we visit San Francisco, to which we would be more happy to do eventually :) I did give both of them my friendly bear hug before parting ways. We actually had a trip planned the next day to Ottawa to meet with CanWrestle and Kevin_Nova, but LumberG's back was hurting and I was tired. In any case, Kevin_Nova was sick with a throat bug, so we simply went for dinner and had a nice chat with CanWrestle. | |||
