Description:
The Phantom of the 17th Century faced this ’Crusher’ - wide as he was tall . like a bull - arms and chest of granite. Not easy, he decided . . .
”We fight - barehanded - to the death. I have never lost - I crush men’s skulls like eggs . . . ”
He wrapped those arms around me - for a moment I understood his name ”Crusher” . . .

Entry Description:
Flashback story to when the Phantom founded the Jungle Patrol (ID 473), just like issue 1679 (Pirate Inheritance).
Only this time the Bearhugger, a Pirate the size of an ox, has been renamed the Strangler instead of the Crusher and unlike the original comic, actually has a solid grip on the Phantoms torso.
