2009: Hi, guys. Anyone in NE Ohio who has a background in scholastic/amateur wrestling who is interested in getting a legit wrestling club started sanctioned by USA Wrestling, please get in touch with me here. It's time to get into shape and skilled with international freestyle wrestling rules and techniques and get into tournaments with the Philadelphia, Toronto, and Chicago clubs. Guys in Buffalo, Detroit, Columbus, Cincy, and Pittsburgh will hopefully be organizing in similar fashion as the 2014 Cleveland Gay Games approach. 2012: I was diagnosed with a massive brain tumor, had surgery, survived it, started walking the next day on a very long road to recovery. I am half-blind now and living with the challenges but thankful for each day. Guys, keep yourselves fit. You can do it. I am a living testament to the importance of that. Most importantly, make sure your eye doctors are checking your visual fields, not just checking the insides of your eyeballs and your ability to read charts. What's left of my vision is still better than 20/20. I will not reveal what part of my visual field is gone because I'm not going to give anyone a leg up on where to try to grab first.

2013: Had to have radiation treatments to try to slow down/destroy the remaining tumor fragments. MRIs have been good since then. Sometimes I stutter or get a little tongue tied, but that's okay. The surgeon has cleared me to participate in any sports, including wrestling and working out heavily with weights and cardio.

2014: Started to workout with the wrestling club in Columbus: http://www.cbuswrestling.org. Very serious sport wrestling done there. They cater to beginners, but can safely kick some major ass at the same time. Stop pretending that you're interested in wrestling if you live in Central Ohio and aren't going to practices weekly. I just took away any excuses. You'll be glad you went.
