|Bruno Piveta and Gabriel Muscle Dominus - Saturday March 25th 2017 (News ID: 1736)||[ Back to top ]|
These aren't really video companies, but rather bodybuilders who have decided to go out on their own and do the things that people ask them... such as carrying, lifting, flexing, dominating, showering, trampling and of course, bearhugging.
Hence, we have new bodybuilders sprouting like Bruno Piveta and Gabriel Muscle Dominus. They cater to their fans who request specific situations and scenarios, such as bearhugs:
If you find more like these, feel free to let me know so I can give a shout on this page and take a couple of snapshots from their videos and add them to the Bearhug Uploads. These guys need all the exposure they can get, because the limelight is easily stolen by the monstrous companies that dominate and saturate the gay wrestling video market.
In addition, these bodybuilders really struggle to survive because they use the YouTube platform to make themselves known, but what happens when they use YouTube to show their muscles and bearhugging skills? Well, their account gets terminated because it violates YouTube's policy on nudity or sexual content. Doh! It's not as if they are having a hard on when they give out bearhugs... but we might or maybe their victims might get one.

|From Russian Muscles to Wrestling Video World - Saturday February 13th 2016 (News ID: 1687)||[ Back to top ]|
About a year ago, Russian Muscles' closed down and purchasing any of their products became impossible. Well, luckily for us, it seems to have re-opened under a new company named called "Wrestling Video World".
While I personally think renaming company names simply creates confusion, it may be supported by the fact that the new name is a bit more generic and it's a bit broader than "Russian Muscles".
You can find their new website under Link ID 3364, but please do be careful since a few users have reported to me a several issues with their website concerning security restrictions.
I haven't checked if the videos are actually the same, but since most of their matches are held in the same room with the flamboyant gym background with all the bouncing blue balls and the special lighting, I felt there was no need to investigate any further.
The sample above comes from Upload ID 32744. Voting on it obviously nets you some bonus points.

|The Best Flex and Muscle Collection - Sunday January 10th 2016 (News ID: 1683)||[ Back to top ]|
Here are two more companies that are sprouting near your backyard! Just kidding... These are not wrestling video companies per say, they specialize mostly into flexing, but some of their models will do a bit of wrestling, and on occasion, show us a couple of bearhugs.
A few bearhugging images from The Best Flex and Muscle Collection are already listed in the Bearhug Uploads, but a lot more should come shortly. Voting on any bearhugs from those two startup companies will grant you +250 bonus points per image... so vote away!
Regarding their video clips, you should not be putting your expectations too high.. most of the time, you won't get a full match with these guys. They generally will simply follow a script: flex a bit, do a bearhug, apply a full nelson, so yea... no full-fledged wrestling scenario ŗ la BG. Just give these guys a break.

|Cameron Wrestler: Lane Hartley vs Z-Man - Saturday September 5th 2015 (News ID: 1670)||[ Back to top ]|
Hmm... I received an e-mail yesterday from Cameron Wrestler. They sent me four bearhug pics from one of their latest videos: Lane Hartley vs Z-Man.
It was very nice of them to think about us. I will definitely remember their kind and generous gesture in the future.
You can vote on these uploads for a +1,000 bearhug points bonus each.

|Big Bear Hugs 6 - Thursday May 21st 2015 (News ID: 1651)||[ Back to top ]|
A representative from Muscle Domination Wrestling (MDW) e-mailed me today to give me a copy of their Big Bear Hugs 6 videos.
It's actually the first time I get something like this. It's pretty strategic on their end... what better way to get exposure by giving a free copy of their videos to sites in the wrestling community?
I mean, sites like BG East, Can-Am and Thunders could care less since they get all the advertisement they can get (plus damage control) from Tumblr, Facebook and YouTube. But if you are a startup, then this kind of marketing plan will definitely help boost their products to help them get aligned with the bigger guys.
Anyways, I told them that I would take screenshots of their videos and post it in the Bearhug Uploads section... which I did. You can view them by clicking here.
Yea.. I know this is a wee bit confusing. The video feature Steel Muscle God, which has his own video company, but this is a joint partnership with MDW.
And guys... do try to be nice with them on your ratings.

|Cameron Wrestler: Bigger Roster incoming :) - Thursday January 29th 2015 (News ID: 1633)||[ Back to top ]|
Every once in a while, you see a couple of wrestlers dissociate from the main adult wrestling studios and they end up creating their own company. You've got Frank the Tank who previously made videos from Thunder's Arena, found his own Mission4Muscle and tagged a couple of his friends along. We also get to see Morgan Cruise, who worked for BG East, sell his own sets of videos at Muscle Domination Wrestling and MorganCruise.us. The list just keeps growing... which is great for us because more wrestling companies means more bearhugs for us!
For instance, Cameron Matthews apparently also seems to have found the financial potential of his wrestling skills and contacts. While the name of the website seems to imply a site only for himself, it is far from being the case. I suppose if you are someone like him, then you probably have lots of buddy-buddies in the wrestling industry. His site, cameronwrestler.com already houses about 30 videos with an active roster of at least a dozen wrestlers. He has good-looking wrestlers working under him, many you've seen before in both BG and Thunder's, but also brand new ones that have not appeared anywhere else. My guess is that its only a matter of time before he'll take a bigger chunk of the pie of the adult wrestling industry. Hey, why settle for a one-time payment for shooting a video for a company when you can keep 90% of all the profits of every future sale of the video?
If you are curious, there's already a couple of bearhugs recorded in the Uploads section for this company... and I really expect this list to be growing bigger.
But yea, according to this comparison chart here (click here), BG East still holds about 25% of all the bearhug images uploaded to the site, followed far behind by Thunder's Arena with 14%. The totality of all bearhug images from Cameron Wrestler currently account for ... a measly 0.09% of the site's bearhug uploads. So there's still a very long long long way to go.
While I was browsing Cameron's site, I stumbled on to this:
Yes, Big Barry Burke, I will gladly take your free bearhugs! By the way, this shot is from Forced to Flex.... Unfortunately, this video is quite misleading. He wears a t-shirt that says "Free Bear Hugs", but he doesn't give or receive any bearhugs! Plus the video is called "Forced to Flex", but he only flexes for 45 seconds in the entire 19 minutes of running time. I guess we need to be patient and leave these guys a bit more time and experience to come up with scenarios and stories that will please us.

|The Russian Muscles - Sunday September 1st 2013 (News ID: 1555)||[ Back to top ]|
An anonymous sender gave me a link to this group of bobybuilders called The Russian Muscles who are creating home videos of muscle worship, wrestling, lift and carry, hulking and bearhugging.
Of course, nowadays, this is getting more and more common for an increasing number of bodybuilders. After all, it is a good source of revenue for them to keep up their good shape and keep on pumping, provided their reach their targeted and intended audience.
If you have a moment to spare, have a look at their YouTube channel:
You can also check out the bearhug uploads that have already being posted online or have a look below at one of their videos that has a high frequency of bearhugs.
Hmm.. I wouldn't mind a hug from the Russian Leon... Yea, he's the one that has the bigger form...
To help kickstart their business, +200 bearhug points will be awarded for each vote made on a Russian Muscles bearhug upload, so please go right ahead and vote.

|The Muscle Masters... again - Friday April 5th 2013 (News ID: 1530)||[ Back to top ]|
I actually spoke about these Muscle Masters about 2 years ago, but Siskokid (id 1329) recently suggested that they should be brought back up to the spotlights again:
The link is already archived under Link ID 1926 and you can view some of their uploads by clicking here.
As a bonus, you'll get +500 bonus points for voting on the link and +250 bonus points for each vote on a Muscle Masters upload. Hey, I should give you guys an incentive for reading this, right?

|Santa Monica Wrestling - Friday March 1st 2013 (News ID: 1522)||[ Back to top ]|
CAL Wrestling was purchased by Santa Monica Wrestling not that too long ago.. ok maybe somewhere between 7 and 10 years ago... so yea, it's been a while. I do remember a website called The Gym by Magus3X displaying this link, but that site went under some time last year.
Santa Monica tried to advertise a bit some of their CAL content: they had a small website with a very outdated look to sell them. The site didn't had any pictures or previews, but they had a P.O. box address where you can send them a check to get a magazine through snail mail with a few of their samples and items for ordering...
Does anybody remember the localization of this site? I'm surprised I never added it to the links section. Even though there's no real tangible content on the site, it still should be listed as a Wrestling Video Company.
+100,000 bearhug points will be awarded if you can find or submit this link. Thanks!

|NHB Battle to Movimus Wrestling - Monday December 17th 2012 (News ID: 1498)||[ Back to top ]|
Every now and then, wrestling video companies disappear to reappear under a different name.
Well, it looks like that's the case for NHB-Battle. They went down near the end of July last year, but they are now back online under a new company title: Movimus Wrestling! Check out their revamped site:
It is very nice to see that something that was deployed and developed more than 15 years ago has been brought back to life. I personally think NHB carries with them a big chunk of the online wrestling heritage.
A friend has once told me that NHB's matches are not scripted, unlike many other companies...

|BoxerToy (No Mercy) Gut Punching - Wednesday August 15th 2012 (News ID: 1470)||[ Back to top ]|
I am trying to track down an user from the former Male Gut Punching Ning Network that was located on http://malegutpunching.ning.com. The site has been down for quite a while saying that they are under maintenance, but that maintenance frame seems to be indefinite.
There was an user who went under the handles BoxerToy or No Mercy and he made a few dozens of gut punching videos, but some of them also had nifty bearhugs. You can actually view a few screenshots by clicking here.
Can anyone put me back into contact with this user? I remember this guy's price for his videos was steep, but if you did purchased from him previously, chances are that you still have his e-mail address.
Also, +500,000 points will be awarded to anyone who you can put me back into contact with this user.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Update (2012-08-28): Fuji (id 2748) actually simply pointed out that No Mercy has an active profile on MeetFighters.com or on Facebook

|Morgan Cruise bearhugs - Tuesday July 10th 2012 (News ID: 1460)||[ Back to top ]|
I'm gonna do a nice little promo for Morgan Cruise and Muscle Domination Wrestling again, because last time I saw these videos, it was disappearing from YouTube after a couple of days so might as well post it now and hope that many of you see it and keep it (through Keepvid.com) before it gets removed again.
These muscled youngsters sure know where they are going by producing wrestling and flexing videos and selling them. I hope they'll be able to attract a large audience that will allow them to maintain long-term sustainability.
Many thanks to Brunomariner (id 547) for submitting these links under Link ID 2501 and Link ID 2502.

If you liked the wrestler Morgan Cruise from BG East (also known as Jason Rhodes), then you'll surely like his new wrestling association composed of himself and many other bodybuilders, wrestlers and performers.
According to their FAQ, their intention is to release about one video per week. Some of them already have a few nice bearhugs...
The link has also been added under Link ID 2498 under the category "Wrestling Video Companies". You can also take a look at the first batch of bearhug uploads for this company.

|Fantasy Fight Boys - Thursday February 2nd 2012 (News ID: 1419)||[ Back to top ]|
Here's a new starter wrestling video company I stumbled across the other day. The amount of video matches available is limited for now. They also appear to sell digital photo sets.
As I have always mentioned before, the first few months of a starter company are always the most crucial. Judging from their affiliate site on Clips4Sale, they seem to have started out near the end of Octomber 2011.
A word of advice, it's better to visit them at their official site rather than on their Clips4Sale store. The price of their videos on their official site seems to be less expensive. I'd assume that the offset in price on Clips4Sale is the amount they need to cover for advertising, usage commission and bandwidth on purchases.
Their videos are actually pretty cheap: they vary from 4$ to 9$ a piece, but keep in mind that the length of their videos are a bit short.
If you bought anything from them, feel free to share your thoughts about their products and wrestlers.

|NHB-Battle closed :( - Monday August 1st 2011 (News ID: 1367)||[ Back to top ]|
NHB-Battle.com actually closed their website and all of their operations on Friday, July 29 2011. Here's the message left by the owner and that has been forwarded to some of the Yahoo groups:
It's pretty much a dark day for the wrestling community. NHB-Battle had great wrestlers and unlike many other companies, they weren't scripted.
I can only hope that from all this, new companies will emerge to continue the legacy of NHB-Battle.
Side note: If you check Beefcakes of Wrestling, they also posted NHB's message.

|The Survival List - Sunday July 17th 2011 (News ID: 1363)||[ Back to top ]|
I have always a great sympathy for independent bodybuilders who make their own videos and try to market it.
Among the newest ones that appeared, there are 3 sites that have passed their introduction stage and have managed to stay alive by producing a now large array of videos for sale.
That being said, these guys will still require on users' encouragement to be able to survive for the upcoming years.
While we're on the subject, there's a new bodybuilder appearing on the scene: you can now find Michel Quadzilla from Young Alpha Muscle. He also comes sporting with his own YouTube channel. In addition, he performs a reverse bearhug on one of his videos. It's a small one nonetheless, but if he continues to author more clips like these, we might have something more promising in the future. The information on this new bodybuilder was submitted by Musashi (id 909).

|Removing Fight Place & 2 others - Friday June 10th 2011 (News ID: 1350)||[ Back to top ]|
I've removed Fight Place from the Bearhug Uploads because the company recently posted on their site the age of their actors/wrestlers...
While in Germany (the country where Fight Place is held and recorded) the legal age is probably lower than the legal age in North America, I cannot risk putting content on the site that might fall under the lines of acceptable use or acceptable viewing. Initially though, I believed that all their wrestlers were 18 or over. And even 18 would be drawing the line, because in some states, the minimum age would be 21.
Hey, you're still free to visit their website... it's just that I won't host any of their content anymore... meaning that they won't compete with the other companies in the Bearhug Uploads.
On top of that, I removed European Gay Wrestling from the Links Section after a visitor reported that the owner/seller on the site did not respond to a purchase.
Lastly, Sparkeo (Brawlnet) was among the ones that bit the dust. Their main site seems down and all that remains are an untouched blog and an inactive twitter account. The videos already posted on Sparkeo are no longer accessible, except for those who have already purchased them.
It's actually pretty sad to see all these start-ups disappear, but I guess it's to be expected. If every small wrestling business that was created instantly became successful and made people rich, then everyone would be opening one. Wouldn't that be great? Thousands of video wrestling companies! More that you can feast your eyes and not enough time to view them all!

|Sparkeo - Thursday November 25th 2010 (News ID: 1282)||[ Back to top ]|
Sparkeo is a video training site where any individual or company can put their courses online. These following courses may be of interest to you guys.
If you're interested in purchasing the course, just look for the "Buy Now" icon in the bottom right corner of the video. Some of their content is 7.50$, others are 15$. And if you're not interested, well you can just watch the one-minute preview.
Viewed in HD resolution, some of these videos give crystal clear and sharp images. However, they eat up a lot of bandwidth, so make sure you keep an eye on that if you're with an internet provider that limits and caps your downloads.

|Fight Garage to College Underground Grappling? - Monday November 15th 2010 (News ID: 1277)||[ Back to top ]|
I've asked not long ago what happened to Fight Garage, but it looks like this new company is the answer to my question.
College Underground Grappling was added about two weeks ago as Link ID 1814. If you look at the list of wrestlers featured in their videos, you will probably recognize some of them as former fighters from Fight Garage. On top of that, the wrestling style is identical to Fight Garage's style.
So, is this a new trend for a wrestling company to shut its doors and open up under a new name?

|Viorel Marasoiu and Steel Muscle - Saturday October 23rd 2010 (News ID: 1268)||[ Back to top ]|
As of late, I haven't been seeing much activity for new wrestling video companies. However, there are two bodybuilders that recently created videos with bearhugs, but they're products way WAY WAY overpriced. So, my recommendation is to pass them (for now) and perhaps wait until they decide to cut down the price at least in half before purchasing them.
These are the two bodybuilders involved:
Viorel Marasoiu [ Related bearhug video ]
Steel Muscle God [ Related bearhug image ]
On top of it, if you share my experience, the bearhugs would most likely be too short to justify the high price tag you would dish out for these videos.
