Wow.. I did not touch the series section since July 2 2006... Anyway, I added a few bearhug pictures from Mark Henry in Series 6-7 of Bearhug Gallery 5. In this particular match, Henry bearhugs an unknown jobber to submission. It's not one of his best bearhugs, but at least it's one, so I won't complain. |

The bear galleries received a few hits so now is a good opportunity to release another one: Strongman Bears Gallery 1 has been added to the galleries. This gallery currently houses 40 images, but more will be added in the future. The major difference between this gallery and the musclebears gallery is mainly the size of bears... Strongman bears are normally much huger than regular musclebears. Strongman bears can also be those that participate in Strongman competitions such as World's Strongest Man or similar events. |

I'm posting them now because there is a possibility that I won't be around during Christmas to post an update. If I am though, I will post even more clips  , but for now, have fun with these.

G Joey Hudson updated his website with a new match: vs EPTiger. Check out his site at GoPileDrive.com (there's a bearhug to get )
You'll notice the increased neatness of the site (flash plug-in to display pictures), which makes it harder to save pictures, but if you are a website guru like I am then that won't refrain you from saving the pictures anyway. 
Of course, each image is watermarked, but I don't blame him at all: I do the same for my pictures and I can understand the precaution measures taken in case someone used his pics on other websites without giving credit where its due. My only complain is that the watermark is way too big and it could have been placed around the corner of the images instead of smack dab in the center, but I guess that's to negate the evil art of 'cropping'  ... Nevertheless, the images are still hot!

I should provide here a few details about the rating system of the Video Reviews section, because I already received questions about it: There are 3 ratings and the rating displayed in search results is the average of those ratings. The ratings consists of: - The reviewer's rating - The public rating - The private rating The reviewer's rating is self-explanatory and counts normally as 33% of the full mark. It however counts as 50% of the full mark if there are either no public OR private ratings and it counts as 100% of the average rating if there are no public AND private ratings available. Public ratings are people who visit the video review section and vote directly on the review. (On each review, you can scroll all the way down to give a rating on the video.). This rating counts as 33% of the average rating if at least one public rating is submitted. If at least one public rating is submitted, but there are no private ratings, then this rating counts as 50% of the full mark. Private ratings are people who vote on the reviews when they are logged in to their wrestling profile in the Wrestling Personals section. Those votes are counted as private ratings. This rating counts as 33% of the average rating if at least one private rating is submitted. If at least one private rating is submitted, but there are no public ratings, then this rating counts as 50% of the full mark. In general, the average rating formula is: It's that simple. Why would you care about the reviews section? Well, it's because on some reviews, there are bearhug pics!

I worked on this new feature for the site for about a week and finally managed to finalize it for release. The Video Reviews Section is self-explanatory: it reviews products, videos and wrestling matches of companies like Can-Am, Thunder Arena, On Top and other companies that explores the wrestling theme. Currently, on top of the basic information provided and the pictures associated to them, the only interactivity it gives the user is the ability to give a rating on that video. In the future, I'll probably allow users to create and edit their own reviews. Also, for the time being, I am only reviewing videos from Thunder Arena and from products available at Movie Mountain. Why not others? Well, let's just say that I refuse to provide reviews from other companies that don't make an effort to provide an affiliate program for webmasters. That being said, you won't see companies like BG East on the review section since they have no affiliate program available. Sincerely, I think they have the financing required to develop one. Furthermore, they could just throw a few videos to Movie Mountain which would take care of tailoring everything into their own affiliate program and the case would be closed. For each review, a strong emphasis is provided if the product contains a bearhug (I will also attempt to post as much pictures of bearhugs as possible if there are any). You will notice that the general layout of the reviews section looks very similar to the Wrestling Personals section. In fact, this reviews section is also managed by a database and this is a small progress into convert the site gradually to a database-driven site which allows people to browse and search for information easily. It also allows me to add information quickly (which would mean that updates would occur more frequently). I know there is also a "bearhug in adult video section" on the site, but that particular section will be transferred to this new one over time. Armbars appears all the time in wrestling polls, but very few people ever vote for them. If I don't post it now, I'm pretty sure it'll never see the light of day. For some reason, this isn't a hold of interest to many people despite the high frequency of times it is used in today's pro wrestling. Hey, maybe that's why no one wants to see it. Again, the quality of some of these armbars and the diversity of ways you can apply it makes this hold a worthy one to be listed. 40 pictures have been added to the Armbar Gallery in the Gallery Section. Come to think of it, when someone applies me this hold, it infuriates me because OWW! it hurts! But it still makes a nice picture.

Arm wrestling isn't a particular wrestling hold, but I felt that the test of strength and the muscular display associated to it deserves a place in the gallery section. Once you'll notice the quality and the manliness of some of these pictures, I'm sure you'll agree. 20 arm wrestling pics have been added to the Arm Wrestling Gallery in the Gallery Section. I added today two video clips of matches I had recently. One of them features Gendronie racking me. In the other one, I'm giving a body scissors-full nelson combo to EvilDark. I kinda covered this last one with loud music to hide the fact that we were "scenarizing" and laughing while producing this video. I swear I'll try to be more serious next time. 
I hope you guys will enjoy these videos as much as I liked being held in these holds or giving them. 
I'm still open to almost any kind of wrestling matches, so if anyone is visting Montreal, Quebec (Canada), you know how to contact me.

The first bearhugs I've saw were the ones applied by Dave Sullivan bearhugs. I saw them at around the age of 15. This is one of them, but it isn't the very first I have seen because I remember seeing about two-three of them in the span of several months. I'm still looking for that very first bearhug. I remember the slow motion of his bunny-hop (that's the name he gave for his inverted bearhug). Personally, I thought Dave applied those bearhugs very well. You can see the clip by clicking here. The demographic and statistical results acquired from the traffic trackers shows that a very large portion of visitors come from bears sites (furry, hairy-chested men sites). I think many of them are dissapointed by the fact that a very small portion of pictures on this site are "bear-related". Hence, I've decided to open a few galleries containing bear pictures to satisfy this clientele. Musclebear gallery 1 and Bears Gallery 1 have been added to the Bears Gallery: +40 pictures have been added to Musclebear gallery 1 +40 pictures have been added to Bear gallery 1 Enjoy! When I was young, I used to watch Terrence Hill and Bud Spencer movies. They were famous actors mostly known in Germany although many of their movies were translated to other languages such as French and English. I always had a thing for Bud Spencer, being the strong big hairy guy. In this clip, both Terrence Hill and Bud Spencer are cornered by thugs in a gym. At one point, a little cub tries to bearhug Bud Spencer, but as you can imagine, considering the size differences, it doesn't do a thing to Spencer. It's still worth a look nonetheless. It's a shame the bearhug is so short, but we are all used to that now when it comes to bearhug in movies, right? |

I can't stop grinning at the current results of Poll #17. I meant to post as a joke that BG East, Thunder's Arena or NRW's wrestling clip should be made available, but I guess you guys already know that it's not really worth the risk because of copyright protections. I should however remind you that YouTube is still full of those. Here's an efficient way to look for them: Most of the clips that are posted in violation of BG East's copyright rules never have the BG East terms/keywords associated to the clip. This would simply make them easy targets, right? I mean Kid Leopard could just march into YouTube, type BG East, send an e-mail to YouTube and have the clip shut down in less than a day. There might be some that are still there, but sometimes, they are left there intentionally for marketing purposes, while other clips should never have been posted online. Those are the ones that dissapear rather quickly. Consider this: BG East does have enough time in their hands to type every wrestling keyword to verify if an offending clip has been posted. So, you know what keyword to type and what to look for? First hint: Torture Rack http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3yEwcwFKe4 Note: By the time you read this, the above clip may be deleted.
