This is already posted in the body scissors gallery, but I think it deserves to be posted here because this is a symbolic picture: it's a body scissor, it shows manliness, it shows strength and toughness, it shows two man wrestling.. nakkid. Wouldn't you agree this body scissors is hot?

Around 18 body scissors has been added to the body scissors gallery. I should update this gallery more often considering this is my 2nd favorite hold... This along with combinations of this hold such as bearhug-body scissors and full nelson body scissors. And that's why I like this hold so much: it's versatile, for many people it can be much stronger than a bearhug, it is easy to regulate its power and the squeezing factor is awesome! 
Anyway, if you browse these wrestling images by ID, you can find the new ones by looking for pic ID 183 to 200. This isn't much, but I promise new ones will come up soon. |

I know there has been a bit more bearhug-trackers type of headlines lately, but this is part of late spring clean-up of my hard drive... or early summer clean-up. Both my 160 GB internal and my external 250 GB hard drives are full... so old bearhugs must get out to make space for new ones. Anyway, this bearhug aired on Heat on April 22 2007. ...It's far behind, but like they say, better late than never

That goatee he has is so irresistible... which reminds me: if you've seen Chris Masters' beard, you'd probably pass out...

I don't know what it is with pro wrestling lately, but it seems that there has been a quota of bearhugs to fulfill.
The ECW show aired on May 29 2007 on the Sci-Fi channel and contains a bearhug applied by Elijah Burke on CM Punk.

A bit late now, but if you caught monday's WWE RAW (May 21st), the show aired a bearhug by Umaga on Bobby Lashley.
It still isn't too late because you can always catch re-runs of the show. The bearhug lasts one minute so it's not too shabby for a pro wrestling bearhug, but I have to warn you that about 30 seconds of it is a kneeling bearhug which is not shown in the following snapshots.

It's already around that time of the year where I check the Google Rankings of this site.  Keywords: bearhug: First off, I will NEVER ever get the first place with this keyword, because http://www.bearhug.net will always be the site that will hold it It doesn't have as many bearhugs as here, but it's a known social group for gay bears and that group has a greater amount of people with that interest than the group of people who enjoy seeing guys giving bearhugs (i.e, us).

Overall, i'm extremely happy with the rankings. If it weren't for you guys doing those search queries, linking from your websites, your groups, discussion forums, from your own links sections, sharing the addresses with your friends and clicking on this site, its ranking wouldn't be so up for those keywords, so I owe you guys a million thank you for all your help (plus a couple hundreds of bearhugs).
Here are some interesting stats concerning the site for April 2007: According to the chart below, the bandwidth spent per day averages 1 GB (!) of transfer, 550 visits, ~4000 pages are viewed and 50000 (!!!) hits are made. Cumulatively, the amounts are 34 GB, 16630 visits, 134,844 pages and 1,515,826 hits per month.

We have seen previously websites to individual wrestlers that have been featured in BG East products. Here are a few more: Jon Ramsey's website - You guys know him by Wade Cutler. I don't really get it why he uses a different name when he wrestlers for BG. I mean Jon Ramsey is quite a decent name. Aside from finding a horde of pictures of Jon showing many sides of his perfect body on his website, you'll also find out that he sells... um.. competitive and professional escort services. It's too bad I can't afford him.
Shane McCall - This is rather a tribute website to Shane McCall made by someone else rather than a site maintained by the wrestler himself. I always had a weakness for Shane. Cute, handsome, tough and agressive heel. What more can you ask? In his last appearance at BG, he gained some extra weight and that just makes him looks like a bear and yum... I fall for bears! 
Cage Thunder's blog - A new wrestler at BG, so many of you probably don't know him. His first video comes from their latest catalog: Masked Mayhem 2. You should see what he has to say on his blog about the relationship between the fans and the wrestlers at BG. It's pretty interesting and very few wrestlers who become celebrities because of BG actually take the time to write down their experiences and share their thoughts with us.
For more links, zap to the links section. Before I forget, I saw this link posted earlier in a discussion forum, so I thought I'd share it with you guys. They currently have one product and it is not released yet, but ouch! The cost of their Rasslin' and Muscle product hurts both my eyes and my wallet: 50$ pre-order and 60$ regular! At least they didn't beat Cal's record to sell their videos at 100$ (no wonder Cal went bankrupt). Still, the site is worth a visit, because if you take a look at their trailers, you'll get to see an excerpt of their bearhug (!). In my opinion, this is scary because the site and its concept looks somewhat familiar to Pro Muscle Wrestling, which we all know, closed down after a few years of operation.  Hopefully, Rassling and Muscle will not follow that path. Actually, they are already heading the right way by providing high quality pictures on their site, which leaves visitors wanting for more.

I will never EVER use Bravenet again for my polls! Why? That's because I just finished implemented my own polling system.

I've decided to take the animated bearhugs out of the dusty treasure box. I had no idea some people were still interested in seeing them. Anyway, I uploaded today a bearhug in the Heavy Animated Bearhugs featuring The Ultimate Warrior bearhugging Dino Bravo. Now, I have to warn you that this animation is quite hillarious.. Dino Bravo is supposed to be struggling, but instead, he looks like he is swimming in a bearhug... Now, if you downloaded the bearhug on your workstation and view it with something like ACDSee, you'll probably see Dino Bravo dancing in this bearhug. Don't believe me? Give it a try!

Finally found that clip of Batista! This one occurred back in February 2004.
You'll see him bearhug Chris Benoit. Just take a look at Clip #18 in the Clips section, but remember to right click and save rather than viewing the video directly. The bearhug would be much hotter if Benoit didn't try so hard to get out of it. Also, it would help a lot if the camera stayed closer during this sequence. An interesting aspect to note: the bearhug went from an elevated frontal bearhug, to a kneeling bearhug and then went down to a grounded bearhug. It's somewhat a little plus to the clip. Is there a clip from a particular wrestler you want to see? Please let me know. |

Just got this e-mail from Simon today:
The animated GIF with Johnny Stamboli actually never moved: it was stored in Bearhug Gallery 6, which leads you to Animated Bearhugs, which then leads you to Heavy Animated Bearhugs. It is in this gallery you will find the Johnny Stamboli GIF. I know... sometimes my website is like a maze, but I do try my best to keep it simple . Speaking of animated bearhugs, I have uploaded another one so I hope you'll enjoy it: when you'll watch the Johnny Stamboli one, you'll see the new one.
I am posting less clips on my site because they are huge in terms of disk space and use a lot of bandwidth. Instead, I've been embedding or linking to YouTube clips because it uses up their disk space and bandwidth. On some occasions, my site was temporarily suspended for an hour or two because of massive downloads. If I want to avoid that, I need to have the bandwidth consumed outside of this site. Not to fear, I will still be uploading additional clips to this site, but I will continue to prioritize on uploading or pointing to external video content providers like YouTube or Veoh. After all, that's one of the reason these video providers exist: to help smaller sites decrease their bandwidth consumption. I think I might have a clip or two of Batista, but I'll have to look and search where I stored them (they are probably burned on a DVD right now). I'll post them online as soon as I can. To my knowledge, I have never seen Batista give a body scissor, but I do remember him giving bearhugs. Thank you for the YouTube link! If there are some YouTube links I am not posting, it is because I need to go through the legalese to avoid problems with companies behind those copyrights. Posting clips is easy, but getting in trouble because of it is easier.
Companies don't mind when you post images, but clips are a different thing. Some other companies allow you to post clips without problems. Those that are a problem are clips from adult video companies. |

YouTube isn't the only video provider around. Veoh is another one of them and it is being said that this can maybe be the next big thing. I've uploaded this clip on Veoh not too long ago and as you can see, the video is larger and the quality is quite a bit better than YouTube. I hope you guys will enjoy it, so please let me know if you prefer YouTube-style videos, or Veoh-style. Online Videos by Veoh.com Do you prefer YouTube videos or Veoh videos? I know it's not the best bearhug around, but at least, it gives you a standard on the quality of this video so you can use it as a basis of comparison against other video providers. Sometimes, it may look that I am away for a long while, but if you watch carefully, I would sometimes be performing updates, enhancements and tune-ups to the Wrestling Personals. I work on that particular section of the site a lot because it's killing two birds with one stone: One, I do what I like (maintain a site about wrestling and bearhugs), and two, I am learning the PHP programming language. I am investing a bit more time lately into my career and learning new languages is an asset for new upcoming jobs. Also, my updates are often done on week-ends, but for the last four week-ends, I've been travelling : I went to Boston (MA), Burlington (VT), Quebec (QC) and finally, Ottawa (ON). I am not planning any upcoming trips for the rest of May, so I guess I'll be able to post more updates.

Shall we start the month of May on the right foot? 40 bearhugs from Terry's screencaps were added to Bonus Bearhug Gallery 4. The new pictures are identified as: ID 461 to 500. Take a look at Brady Boone pictures.. I have a feeling he was smiling and laughing while he was in that bearhug. He wasn't in pain, and that's definitely because he was really enjoying it! Seriously, you can see from the expression on his face. He's saying: "Oh! Ah! Argh! Ugh! More please! More bearhugs! Urgh! Ah! That's good! A bit lower in the back! Yes, there! oh! Oh! ..." Don't agree? Take a look.
