  Bearhug description:

M.U.G.E.N is a powerful user-based custom-engine that can be employed to create your own fighting games by inserting/editing your own video game sprites, design your own characters and create your own moves.

With a lot of work, you can create bearhugs with this engine. They can be bearhugs of any type, length, genre or category. It is even possible to create combinational bearhugs. Users who do not have the type of skills required to create characters can use existing ones or characters created by others.

In the Youtube link below, the bearhug is at 0:40, but the clip as a whole shows how the sprite, graphics and game code of MUGEN can be manipulated to realize anyone’s darkest wishes and fantasies.

Best of all, M.U.G.E.N. is a free video game that can be downloaded to any PC that has the minimum playing requirement. Just google ”MUGEN” for more information on acquiring this game.

  Plot:

The list below shows a few known characters that can give bearhugs and that have being ported to MUGEN. They have been created by different authors by using sprites from existing video games:

- Kongou from Warzard
- E. Honda from Street Fighter Alpha 3
- Tizoc from Garou: Mark of the Wolves
- Minotaur (unknown game)

The bearhug animation for the characters below is not entirely successful. The hold is supposed to be a bearhug, but in general, it doesn’t look like that they are giving one. This however depends on the positioning of the sprites.

- Raiden from Fatal Fury
- Bear from Fatal Fury 2
- Kuromaru (unknown game)
- Johnny Maximum from World Heroes Perfect
- Leo from Warzard

Since all the sprites are editable, it is possible to make the bearhug for these characters more realistic.

Thanks for the download advice.

Since I have an iMac i can't "right-click" my mouse, but I can 'drag' it from screen to desktop.

Thanks again

Unlock the file first, then right-click the image and use "Save as..."
