First Episode of the Second Season.
Except for Fox, the Pack has been broken out of prison by Coyote, who appoints himself Leader of the Pack in Foxs absence. Wolf, however, takes this chance to beat him and become boss. After he says Ill just have to settle for ripping this guy in half! and makes an unsuccessful first attack, Wolf states When I get through with you theyll call you Road-Kill! before he lunges forward and GRABS Coyote in a big strong bearhug, pinning his arms.
On TV or DVD, this is by far the BEST BEARHUG of the series. Comes at  1:08 on the main Link #1.
The other link #2, in German, has the Bearhug come much sooner at 37 seconds.

There are 4 shots related to this bearhug: the grab, the reaction (of the remaining team-mates), the close-up hold (Wolfs response to him squeezing Coyote), and the release (Coyote freeing himself).
The best shot is that of Wolfs Grab. His close-up doesnt show a good much of Coyote being squeezed. And the bearhug appears for only a split second in the release . . . unless you keep it on pause for as long as you like.
Wish there had been more animation to this bearhug, and more during the series. Like Wolf (wolf-like) and Thailog squeezing Goliath/Brooklyn. |
