Description:
The book opens with the team worried about what happened to Goliath at the end of last issue. Hawkeye decides to strike off on his own to find out what has happened to the love of his life, Black Widow. When he finds her he discovers that she has joined forces with a pair of Avenger villains. The evil trio defeat Hawkeye and turn their attention on the rest of the Avengers, who they waylay after attacking Avengers HQ.

Power Man joins forces with Swordsman, and a mind controlled Black Widow. The three team up and defeat Hawkeye when he refuses to follow Black Widow into the group. Swordsman and Power Man then defeat Captain America when Power Man catches him in a bearhug and squeezes until Cap loses consciousness.
