Just saw this lately. This is one of those very silly comedy with a bit of action (a style similar to the Austin Power or the Naked guns series). Neil Patrick Harris, who plays Lance in the movie, enjoys geting bearhugged by a security guard for a very short length and unsatisfying view. Then, get ready to be grossed, Lance squishes his bearhugger's head and green goo spills out from both side (eww). Also, take note that Lance, prior to the bearhug, pulls out the heart and the vetebral column of two other security guards. No, it's not a horror movie, it's just a gross scene that's supposed to make people laugh... Rent it.. or not. The bearhug, much like most of the bearhugs featured here, is but a little insignificant detail and if you ever rent or bought this movie because of the bearhug, you'll regret it (I warned you).
The rest of the movie is a good laugh though for amateurs of this style of comedy. In fact, this is some sort of a James Bond (or any super agent) parody. You can see Denise Richards and Aunjanue Ellis fighting each other in the shower for a sexy, yet very silly and hillarious scene. |
