Both stories involve bearhugs, of sorts . . . and Superman having trouble with them both.
1) Superman realizes too late that he has been suckered into a trap . . . with magic!
2) Superman gets an into an unwanted brawl with a creature on a planet without any dark colours or shadows due to the three suns it circles. |

1) The Once-and-Future Peri(l)
A magic book finds its way back to Loretta Grant, transforming her again into the Yellow Peri. Her husband, Alvin, takes advantage of her power by having people pay for their services, with Loretta helping people lose their problems . . . unaware of the magical consequences. Only Superman is aware of whats really going on . . .
2) A Superman of a Different Color
In his only haircut session, Clark Kent thinks back to when his visit, as Superman, to a strange planet with three suns, allowing the country to have no shadows or dark colours . . . which provokes one of its large inhabitants, giving Superman a hairy fight for his life. |
