There was a big bearhug scene in a episode of Simon & Simon. Rick Simon (Gerald McRaney) was bearhugged by a big guy.

*NOTE: I believe this is the episode referred to. You can check out the link below. If not, there’s still a bearhug to be seen between a bodybuilder (with shirt on, unfortunately) and A. J. Simon (Jameson Parker.) The website I got this from (http://80smuscle.blogspot.com) also listed another bodybuilder named Carl Weathers in the episode. However, IMDb.com doesn’t list him.* -- Paul M. Although there is a fight scene in this episode I saw a brief rear bearhug on AJ Simon (Jameson Parker the non-mustached brother) in the Youtube link to the fight starts at 11:25.
